Each engagement focuses on a specific area of risk, performance, or opportunity, providing objective assessment and practical recommendations that teams can act on immediately. The outcome is measurable progress, with clearer priorities and decisions grounded in evidence. These assessments help improve system performance, strengthen compliance posture, and address customer experience issues where they have the greatest impact. ![8 West Consulting image of a computer monitor with code on the screen representing technical assessments and impact engagements](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-monitor-with-code.png)   ## Impact Engagements ![](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-downward-chevron-icon.png)   ## FAQs ![](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/SVG_animations/Circle.svg) - ### Q1: What does an Impact Engagement deliver? Each Impact Engagement is fixed in scope and price and delivers a defined output: an assessment, maturity scorecard, gap analysis or prioritised roadmap, with recommendations your team can act on. The output stands on its own, whether or not you commission further work. - ### Q2: How much does an Impact Engagement cost? Every Impact Engagement is fixed price, agreed before work starts. Cost depends on the engagement and scope. A 30-minute scoping call confirms the exact price and timeline, with no obligation to proceed. - ### Q3: How long does an Impact Engagement take? Most Impact Engagements run two to six weeks, depending on scope. The scoping call confirms price and timeline, so you know the end date before you commit. - ### Q4: Which Impact Engagement is right for my organisation? A 30-minute scoping call identifies your highest-priority risk or opportunity and recommends the most relevant engagement. If none fits, we say so. - ### Q5: Can an Impact Engagement lead to a wider transformation programme? Yes. It is designed as a low-risk starting point: the output gives you evidence for investment decisions and a clear next step for a broader programme, and it stands alone if you go no further. - ### Q6: Who commissions an Impact Engagement? Technology, operations and compliance leaders: typically a CIO, CTO, COO or head of compliance who needs an objective, evidence-based view before committing budget. ![8 West Consulting sketch of a left bracket](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-Sketches-left-bracket.png) ### Something Missing? ![8 West Consulting sketch of a right bracket](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-Sketches-right-bracket.png) Let us know what you need.
