By integrating leading CMS and commerce platforms into unified, high-performing ecosystems, we deliver solutions engineered around your business outcomes: revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer lifetime value. As commerce evolves toward AI-driven personalisation and agentic buying experiences, we ensure your platform is built not just for today's conversion funnel, but for tomorrow's autonomous, intent-driven customer journeys. ## Performance and Precision ![8 West Consulting monitor sketch](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-Sketches-small-monitor.png) ### PLATFORM SPECIALISTS Certified Partners. Strategic Advisors We are certified partners across best-in-class commerce and content platforms, but certification is only the starting point. We maintain deep relationships with product teams, stay close to platform roadmaps, and translate that insight into strategic guidance for our clients. Whether you're selecting a new platform, optimising an existing one, or navigating a complex migration, we help you chart the optimal path with confidence. - [Shopify](https://www.shopify.com/) - [Stripe](https://stripe.com/) - Magento - [Sanity](https://www.sanity.io/agency-partners/8-west-consulting) - [Contentful](https://www.contentful.com/) - [Drupal](https://www.drupal.org/) ![8 West Consulting sketch of a rectangle turning into a circle.](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-Sketches-rectangle-to-cirle-small.png) ### PLATFORM MIGRATION MODERNISATION De-Risk the Move. Accelerate the Value. Migrating commerce platforms is one of the highest-stakes technology decisions a brand can make. We bring proven migration methodology honed across dozens of enterprise engagements: handling data migration, integration re-architecture, SEO equity preservation, and phased cutover strategies that minimise revenue disruption.Whether you're moving from a monolithic legacy platform to a composable, headless architecture, consolidating multiple regional storefronts, or replatforming to unlock new capabilities, we manage the complexity so your teams stay focused on selling. ![8 West Consulting sketch of a small gear](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-Sketches-small-gear.png) ### CUSTOM SOLUTIONS COMPOSABLE COMMERCE When Off-the-Shelf Isn't Enough Growth creates complexity. When your requirements outpace standard platform capabilities (multi-market pricing logic, bespoke fulfilment workflows, complex subscription models, or custom integration layers), our architects, developers, and ecommerce specialists build the tailored solutions that take you to the next level. ![8 West Consulting sketch of the icon of a user with a semi-circle around.](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-Sketch-small-circled-user.png) ### DOMAIN-SPECIFIC EXPERTISE Deep Knowledge Where It Matters Most 8 West has particular strength in regulated industries, premium beauty, direct selling; sectors where the challenges are uniquely complex. From accessibility & HIPAA requirements to multi-tier compensation structures and personalised storefronts to high-touch brand storytelling and luxury fulfilment expectations, we understand the nuances that generic agencies miss. By deeply understanding your business model, we partner closely to deliver solutions that delight your customers and drive measurable commercial results. - [Avon](https://www.avonworldwide.com/) - [Estee Lauder](https://www.esteelauder.com/) - [Lifewave](https://lifewave.com/) - [Jo Malone](https://www.jomalone.com/) - One Hope - [Kendo](https://kendobrands.com/) ![8 West Consulting sketch of a brain representing industry-specific AI solutions.](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-Sketches-small-brain.png) ### AGENTIC COMMERCE & AI-DRIVEN EXPERIENCES Preparing Your Platform for the Next Era of Buying Commerce is shifting from click-driven journeys to intent-driven, AI-mediated experiences. Customers increasingly interact through AI assistants, conversational interfaces, and autonomous agents that research, compare, and purchase on their behalf. We help brands prepare for this shift by building commerce layers that are API-first, semantically structured, and ready for agentic interaction, ensuring your products, pricing, and availability are discoverable and transactable by both human shoppers and AI-powered buying agents. This isn't a future consideration; it's a competitive differentiator today. ![8 West Consulting sketch of a small bars chart.](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-Sketch-small-bars-chart.png) ### PERFORMANCE, MEASUREMENT & CONTINUOUS OPTIMISATION Every Decision Backed by Data. Every Improvement Tied to Revenue We don't launch and leave. At every stage, we monitor and optimise against the KPIs that matter to your business: page load times and Core Web Vitals, SEO performance, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition costs. Through rigorous A/B testing, analytics-driven iteration, and continuous performance tuning, we ensure your commerce platform isn't just fast, it's delivering compounding returns. ![8 West Consulting monitor sketch](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-Sketches-lightbulb.png) ### INNOVATION & APPLIED R&D Where Emerging Technology Meets Commercial Reality Through close integration with our R&D programme, the ecommerce team has early exposure to emerging technologies, from generative AI and agentic automation to new interaction paradigms. But we don't chase trends for their own sake. Every innovation we bring to clients is evaluated through one lens: does it deliver real, measurable value for your business and your customers? ![Picture of Mark Rainford, VP of Commercial Business and Innovation at 8 West Consulting](https://8west.ie/hubfs/SEO_optimized_media/8-West-Consulting-member-picture-colored-Mark-Rainford-2.png) “I love being challenged by our clients.
